Thomas MacKinney is the Managing Member of Dynamic Business Solutions. Tom has over 15 years of business experience serving privately held and public companies in both the emerging market and middle markets. He has a broad range of experience and has served companies in the high technology, entertainment, manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Tom provides relevant and practical consultation to private, public, and international clients on many issues involved in financing and operating a business. He began his accounting career in the audit department of Arthur Andersen in 1992 and founded DBS as an accounting consulting company in 2004.
Responsibilities
Tom is responsible for managing the DBS client portfolio and projects.
Education & Affiliations
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Accounting and Finance from California State University Northridge. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Laurie Jacobs is a member of Dynamic Business Solutions. Laurie has over 10 years of business and accounting experience serving a variety of clients. She began her career in accounting as an entrepreneur by growing a private practice of bookkeeping clients. She joined the audit department at Arthur Andersen in 2002 and continued her career in public accounting at Deloitte. She held the position of Controller at The Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood before joining DBS in 2006.
Responsibilities
Laurie manages teams that provide accounting consulting services for a number of DBS's core clients.
Education & Affiliations
Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University Northridge. She is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA).
Additional Accomplishments
Laurie is a trained Yoga instructor and is passionate about teaching!
